1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any MapleGrid AI tool — including PlumbIQ, RoofIQ, ElectroIQ, FrameIQ, JobIQ, and PriceIQ — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These terms apply to all users, including free trial users and paying subscribers.
2. Description of Service
MapleGrid AI provides AI-powered estimation and job management tools designed for Canadian construction trades. Tools are available via a 7-day free trial (no credit card required) and a monthly subscription at $79 CAD per tool, with a 30% discount available on bundles.
PriceIQ is currently offered free of charge. This may change with notice.
3. Free Trial
- Each tool offers a 7-day free trial — one trial per email address per tool
- No credit card is required to start a trial
- Trial access is granted via a license key sent to your email
- Attempting to bypass the trial limit (e.g. using multiple emails or manipulating browser storage) is a violation of these terms and may result in account termination
- After 7 days, access requires a paid subscription
4. Subscriptions & Payments
- Subscriptions are billed monthly at $79 CAD per tool
- A 30% bundle discount applies when subscribing to multiple tools
- Payments are processed by Stripe — MapleGrid AI does not store your payment details
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial months
5. License & Permitted Use
MapleGrid AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the tools for your own business purposes. You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or share access with others
- Reverse engineer or copy any part of the platform
- Use the tools to build a competing product
- Automate requests in a way that abuses the service
- Share your license key with anyone else
6. AI-Generated Estimates — Important Disclaimer
MapleGrid AI tools use artificial intelligence to generate estimates, quotes, and job data. These outputs are AI-assisted approximations and are not a substitute for professional judgment.
You acknowledge that:
- All estimates should be reviewed and verified by a qualified tradesperson before use on real projects
- MapleGrid AI is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs
- Local codes, material costs, and labour rates vary — always verify against current local conditions
- You use the outputs at your own professional discretion and risk
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding on maplegrid.co — including tool names, the MapleGrid AI name and logo — are the intellectual property of MapleGrid AI. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.
Content you input into the tools (job details, measurements, etc.) remains yours. We do not claim ownership over your data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapleGrid AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, job losses, or errors in estimates.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
9. Service Availability
We aim for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or feature with reasonable notice.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms of Service, abuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
